MISSION

We want to make an impact on STEM learning within our school. To do this we aim to further our knowledge of robotics, including design process, programming, physical construction, and team-building. Above all else, we want to have fun!

COACHES

Wendy Mayer has been the Roeper Robotics coach for 6 years. Wendy does technology integration and runs makerspace. She has a passion for robotics and engineering and is a great motivator for all team members to do their best work. 

Sarah Shaya is a Roeper Alumnus from the class of 2017, and more recently joined as an interim middle school science teacher in 2024, and is most recently working as a teacher at our lower school campus. Starting in 2025, she’s been an assistant coach for our high school program, and we’re fortunate to have her as an addition to the team!
