ABOUT US
For decades, the Roeper robotics program has worked to nurture the learning of robotics and engineering to its students. Our team consists of different skill levels ranging from amateur to expert, everyone being equal members of the team.
MISSION
We want to make an impact on STEM learning within our school. To do this we aim to further our knowledge of robotics, including design process, programming, physical construction, and team-building. Above all else, we want to have fun!
COACHES
Wendy Mayer has been the Roeper Robotics coach for 6 years. Wendy does technology integration and runs makerspace. She has a passion for robotics and engineering and is a great motivator for all team members to do their best work.
Evan Shapiro is our assistant coach and a parent volunteer. Coming from a background in medicine, he’s not only a welcome addition to the team, but a great mentor to our students!
